Terra Mater : Earth Stories

Pearl Lam Galleries is pleased to announce its inaugural participation at the 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair 2024 in London from 10-13 October with a solo exhibition of new works by Nigerian artist Alimi Adewale titled ‘Terra Mater

The short film below is a narrative on the inspiration behind the Terra  Mater body of work,  a reflection of the environment and the impact of human activity on my surroundings.

By using reclaimed wood and organic materials, I  intend to raise awareness about environmental challenges and  the impacts.

I seek to evoke a deeper connection to the world around us and inspire a collective responsibility towards environmental preservation.
