Connections II

Astley Gallery is an art gallery and an art museum in Uttersberg in Skinnskatteberg municipality . Galleri Astley is since May 1977 Otter ‘s former railway station , designed by Theodor Dahl and erected in 1897 Köping- Uttersberg- Riddarhyttan Railway . The gallery was founded in 1968 in Koping Astley Nyhlén (died 13 July 2008) .

The gallery has subsequently been enlarged by a museum in a restored granary that belonged to Otter ‘s mansion, with a sculpture park and a graphics workshop in a former railway warehouse . The art museum is a permanent exhibition of works by the Russian- American painter , printmaker and sculptor Ernst Neizvestny .

Galleri Astley is run by members of the  Nyhlén family .

 

Adeola Balogun and Alimi Adewale continue the second phase of their residency at Galleri Astley and it was followed by an exhibition titled connection II.
